Located on the edge of City Square Park in Charlestown – Prima is an energetic Italian celebration of reimagined classics. Our beautifully restored grand bar and dining room – which overlooks the park as well as the city skyline – strives to honor our building’s past and its prestigious placement at the gate of this historic Boston neighborhood.

Open daily for dinner, Prima’s hand-crafted menu has been meticulously curated to provide our guests an incredible dining experience at any time of the day.

Mid-afternoon spritzes on our sunny city patio pair perfectly with house-made gelato, a crusty panini, or maybe something fresh from our locally sourced raw bar.

After-work negronis shared with friends and neighbors suddenly become that much more social when paired with selections from our hand spun mozzarella bar – or a signature brick oven pan pizza from our open kitchen.

Special occasions are supposed to feel special – so we suggest sampling any of our hand rolled pasta dishes – or go all in ordering one of our prime cuts of meat served family style.

Need just a little more? Well – we suggest a reservation in The Rose Room – our private dining room that comes complete with a fireplace, its own dedicated cocktail bar, and a prosecco concierge.
